I am also a great appreciator of the one and only Olive Pink. I have made many paintings in the Olive Pink garden in Alice. They have all sold long ago.
I’m continuing to enjoy your journey woman. That’s a fabulous pic of Chambers Column. I stayed there with Micha for at least a week. Who was Chambers?
Alice sounds beaten up by Whitefellars making rules.
It feels good to be home here in NN while I’m a bit crippled and I’m still reading lots of great books.
Chambers was Stuart’s sponsor for his trips. He used the information on where water was found to buy land and become rich. Time for a name change I think.
Havin a ball. And you thought you didn't want to go. Sounds like the best trip yet. Yes we do have to push ourselves sometimes. Bet you are glad you did. Enjoy the races.
The bush, with the colours and imagery, sounds so much better than Alice Springs. Even without the fights it sounds horrific for an Australian town. Mind you Lach said a man went to the register at Woolies Legana, put $600 of meat through the register and then walked out with the meat without paying. Not sure the security locks would have worked.
Bet you enjoyed the beer after a period of time with "Troopie with no beer!"

Keep on keeping on my good friend, Noni

Thank you very much Lou, I am grateful for knowing about (whoever he was in this regard)
Good to hear your ongoing story, Lou.
Thanks Venie.
Great account about your time in Alice, Lou. And I'm so pleased you got stocked up with the essentials!!
